what the everloving f? how? i copied my old templates, sure, but why am i now getting ok filesizes with x264 (yes, now i know its because i use VBR without lossless checked), but why is HEVC now behaving llike this? i unchecked all b-frames, GOP options, and everything else, left everything at auto (level etc), but to no avail.

if i use NVENC HEVC i get 10gb files no matter if i select CBR, VBR, P4, quality, 3000kbps bitrate, 10000 bitrate. ok, lets check staxrip but is says its configured to use the standalone/portable version of avisynth included with it. i mustve messed something up when installing MPCHD or MADVR since it also installed avisynth.
